Meetings

Meetings are an important and necessary part of many people’s roles, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have become accustomed to conducting these online. Considering how we manage meetings across on-campus and remote working in the longer term is part of the Strategic Foundations Programme Ways of Working Pathway.

As we start returning to campus, and until the work of the Pathway is complete, the will continue to apply.

In general, large and/or formal calendared meetings and meetings that are largely transactional or involve cascading of information should be held virtually. Small meetings that involve collaboration or co-creation may be better suited to face-to-face environments, subject to ongoing COVID measures and guidelines on our campuses.

Meeting chairs will be responsible for deciding the most suitable format for the meeting.
