Background
Dr Carmen Lam completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During her graduate studies, she received two Excellent Teaching Assistantship Awards from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, as well as a Runner-Up Paper Award and a Best Paper Award from the 6th and 8th Pacific Rim International Workshops on Multi-Agents. After graduation, Dr Lam became a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at Hong Kong Baptist University, where she was honored with the Faculty Performance Award in Teaching and two departmental Best Teaching Awards.
She then transitioned to a Lecturer position in the Department of Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong, where she also served as the Deputy Teaching Assistant Coordinator, instructing teaching assistants on effective teaching methods. The university conferred upon her a Professional Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. In 2021, Dr Lam joined the Department of Computer Science at the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø as a Teaching-Intensive Lecturer. In 2022, she obtained the FHEA Fellowship from AdvanceHE. In 2023, she received the School Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
