ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø moves up THE World University Rankings by Subject in Education, Arts, Humanities and Science

The ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø has improved its position in eight out of nine subject areas in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2022.
The results of the THE World University Rankings by Subject see the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø ranked in nine subject areas, improving its year-on-year position in six subject areas. This includes:
- Top 100 (88) in the world for Education studies
- Top 125 (101-125) for Arts and Humanities
- Top 125 (101-125) for Physical Sciences.
In addition, Computer Sciences moved up into the top 400 ranked institutions, and the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø was placed among the top global institutions for Law (151-175) and Social Sciences (175-200) for the first time.
Professor Robert Van de Noort, Vice-Chancellor of the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, said:
"I am pleased to see that this latest set of subject rankings reflects the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø's strength across a breadth of disciplines. We are known worldwide for our strong reputation across the arts, humanities, social sciences and sciences. The collaborative, interdisciplinary nature of some of our strongest research is a testament to the benefits of our commitment to excellence.
"Our work in the field of Education has gone from strength to strength, breaking into the top 100 worldwide for the first time, and there have been widespread gains in many subject areas against a background of increasing global investment in higher education. - 88th in Education (2021: 101-125)
- 101-125 in Arts and Humanities (2020: 126-150)
- 101-125 in Physical Sciences (2020: 126-150)
- 126-150 in Business and Economics (2020: 101-125)
- 126-150 in Life Sciences (2020: 151-175)
- 126-150 in Psychology (2020: 151-175)
- 151-175 in Law (unranked in 2020)
- 175-200 in Social Sciences (unranked in 2020)
- 301-400 in Computer Science (2020: 401-500)
