ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø highest in UK for Agriculture in QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021

Agriculture at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø has once again been ranked among the global elite, topping UK institutions offering courses in this field in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021.
The University is ranked 12 globally for Agriculture & Forestry, a classification that includes study across a range of areas at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, including agriculture, food science, ecology, and soil sciences. The league table considered 1125 institutions and published a ranking of the top 400 for Agriculture.

Professor Richard Frazier, Head of the Department of Food and Nutritional Sciences, said:

Elsewhere in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2021, ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø is ranked among the world's top 200 higher education institutions in 12 subjects, including highly placed rankings in Archaeology, Architecture/Built Environment, and Environmental Sciences, and is given a ranking in Earth and Marine Sciences for the first time.
ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø is ranked internationally as:
- 12 for Agriculture (1 among UK institutions)
- 33 for Earth and Marine Sciences (7 in UK)
- 41 for Archaeology (8 in UK)
- 54 for Environmental Sciences (9 in UK)
- Top 100 for Architecture/Built Environment (8 in UK)
- Top 150 for Accounting and Finance, Art & Design, Business & Management Studies, English Language & Literature, and Geography
- Top 200 for History, and Linguistics
