Caroline is currently working with the Oxford Health Science Network on two service evaluations involving the use of POCT.

Background

Caroline graduated from the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø in 1995 and worked at the Royal Berkshire Hospital where she developed her passion for Intravenous therapy and teaching clinical skills. In 2000 she moved into the Community and, other than a three year career break spent living in India with her family, remains working within the community setting. She has held a variety of Specialist roles including Palliative care, Infection control, Intravenous therapy and Rapid response. She works as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and has taken the lead in introducing point of care testing (POCT) within the Trust.
