Our courses

Train to become an independent prescriber on our Non-Medical Prescribing programmes. You will learn in accordance with the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Independent Prescribing for Nurses

A part-time postgraduate programme to prepare nurses to practise as independent non-medical prescribers and to meet the standards set by the Nursing and midwifery Council (NMC). An undergraduate degree may not be needed to apply as we offer the course at academic level 6 and 7.

Independent Prescribing for Pharmacists

Providing part-time postgraduate programmes to prepare pharmacists to practise as independent prescribers and to meet the standards set by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).

Independent Prescribing for Allied Health Professionals

This course provides part-time postgraduate programmes to prepare allied health professionals to practise as independent prescribers and to meet the standards set by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
