Volunteers

Volunteering at the Herbarium is a great way to learn about plants, and to participate in one of the most active University herbaria in the UK. There are opportunities to learn museum databasing, how to prepare and handle herbarium specimens, organise and label collections and check the identity of species. You can also get involved in interpretive work for public outreach including helping with blogging, Twitter and facebook activities.

The first step is to contact the Curator or the Deputy Curator to discuss what kind of volunteering is needed.

If your needs and ours match up, then the next step is to register the with University .
