Teaching

William teaches cancer genetics, bioinformatics, and medical genetics at Undergraduate to Masters level.

He also supervises undergraduate, MSc and PhD research projects.

 

Research projects

The Rare Malignancies and Cancer Evolution laboratory run by Dr William Cross focuses on clinically relevant mechanisms associated with rare cancer subtypes such chondrosarcoma and pancreatic cancer. 

William also has various collaborative "pan-cancer" projects ongoing that are attempting to reveal the dynamics underpinning the transformation of normal cells into cancer, including how cell populations become heterogeneous, and how driver mutations effect cancer growth.
