Background
I started out as a teacher in Barcelona, Spain, where I moved just after completing my first degree, eventually staying there for five years.
My career in the teaching of EAP and study skills both overseas and in the UK spans a period of over twenty years. For most of this time I worked in Salonika, Greece, initially at the foundation college level for students intending to study at British universities, then at an American liberal arts college offering undergraduate degrees in the arts, sciences and business administration, and more recently at an American agricultural college.
I first taught at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø University in 2004 on one of the pre-sessional courses offered by ISLI during the summer, since then returning a further twelve times, before eventually taking up a more permanent position here.
