Executive Support - Finance
I joined the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø in 2016 after having spent a decade working in the Property sector.
My first roles at the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø were within the Institute for Environmental Analytics where I worked on multiple International Projects such as;
- RE-SAT – Renewable Energy in Small Island Developing States using Space Data. I was part of the project management team in this complex global collaborative project involving stakeholder working groups in 7 remote islands across the globe.
- ViewPoint Brazil and ViewPoint China – Maximise the impact of world class collaborative scientific research. I arranged the launch event of the ViewPoint handbook which was the first simultaneously translated global webinar that the project had ever held. This webinar was joined by scientists from the UK and Brazil both presenting sections of the launch in their native language. The webinar was also joined by two translators who provide simultaneous translation in both English and Brazilian Portuguese to the viewers.
In 2024 I began a new role as the Executive Finance Administrator at the International Study and Language Institute. This role is finance focused and involves working with a large number of stakeholders, both academic and professional within ISLI, and a wide range of colleagues throughout the University.
Areas of interest
I have a passion for sustainability, which is one of the reasons I enjoy working at the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø.
I have had an allotment for many years and am also a trained beekeeper.
