Previously, I was a Teaching Fellow in Economics at King's Business School, King's College London, UK, a Teaching Associate at the School of Economics and Finance at Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a visiting research scholar (Fulbright fellow) at George Mason University, VA, USA. I hold a Ph.D in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. My primary research fields include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and political economy. My research interests cover the areas of fiscal/monetary policy interactions, applied game theory, the theory of economic policy in a strategic context, and the economics of the European Monetary Union. I am particularly interested in policy conflict, coordination, and institutional design. Parts of my research have been presented in international academic conferences/workshops and published in internationally excellent and recognised peer-reviewed academic journals.
