Background
Dr Susumu Yamada, Professor in the Plant Diversity Lab, Tokyo University of Agriculture, where his research specialism is restoration ecology. During his visit he will be discussing restoration ecology and related topics with colleagues in SBS, APD and SAGES and visiting restoration sites in Berkshire and further afield including Cornwall, Liverpool and Scotland. He will also be attending and presenting at the Society for Ecological Restoration conference in Alicante, Spain in September.
