When you choose to study with us, you'll join a friendly, diverse community of students, academics and alumni. You'll engage with practitioners currently working in the industry, building connections that can help you to establish and progress your career.
Life as a master's student
During your studies you'll interact with your fellow students in intensive study sessions on campus, and also work independently with our online learning resources.
Full-time and flexible-modular students are taught together, so you'll meet students with a range of experience and perspectives.
How we support you
We recognise the importance of strong staff-student relationships to your success. Our academics will get to know you as an individual, including your aspirations and needs, whether you're studying full time or on a more flexible modular basis.
We're committed to giving you the best support possible through tutorials and one-to-one meetings. We'll allocate you an academic tutor who'll help guide you throughout your time with us.
96% of our master’s students said they are satisfied with the overall quality of their course (Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2024, responders from our School of Construction Management and Engineering).
Network with professionals
As well as engaging with industry professionals on site visits and when they give guest lectures in the School, you'll have opportunities to network with practitioners at continuing professional development (CPD) events.
You'll also be able to attend events run by the ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø University Construction Society (RUCS). Leading employers and professional institutions regularly give talks and meet students at informal events.
