Overview
Module aims and purpose
To develop students' application and CV writing skills, knowledge of psychometric and video testing, interview and assessment centre techniques. Students also gain additional personal insight through personality tests (for career direction).
Module learning outcomes
By the end of the module, it is expected that students will be able to:
- Be better prepared to apply for placement opportunities
- Be better prepared to attend interviews and assessment centres
- Be better prepared to make career choices and apply for jobs

Structure
Teaching and learning methods
Sessions will be interactive and seminar styled.
Study hours
At least 6 hours of scheduled teaching and learning activities will be delivered in person, with the remaining hours for scheduled and self-scheduled teaching and learning activities delivered either in person or online. You will receive further details about how these hours will be delivered before the start of the module.
