Photocopying
Self-service multifunctional devices which include a photocopying function are available. They can be used by University members and visitors to make black & white or colour copies.

There are photocopiers at the following locations (photocopiers can be found on all floors apart from the 5th Floor).

The copiers are available throughout Opening hours.

Black and white
A4 - 5p per sheet
A3 - 10p per sheet
Colour
A4 - 30p per sheet
A3 - 60p per sheet
Payment methods and costs
It is not possible to use coins in any of our copiers.
Students
Use your Student Campus Card to photocopy. This deducts money from your online account.
Add credit to your account using the .
Staff
For work-related copying use your Campus Card, or login with your University username and password. The cost will be recharged to your department.
If you wish to do personal copying purchase a Guest Campus Card from the Welcome Desk on the Ground Floor. The cards cost £1.50. Add money to the card, using a credit or debit card, at the same Desk.
Associate Campus Card holders
If you have an Associate Campus Card you can use this to photocopy. This deducts money from your online account.

External Borrowers Campus Card holders
If you have an External Borrowers Campus Card you can use this to photocopy.
You can add money to the card, using a credit or debit card, at the Welcome Desk on the Ground Floor.
Visitors
Buy a Copy Card from the Welcome Desk on the Ground Floor. The cards cost £1.50. You can add money to the card, using a credit or debit card, at the same desk.
Copying regulations
The Library's photocopying services are offered in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright Act. Explanatory notices are displayed by the photocopiers. Each user has, personally, to comply with the law. Should Library staff suspect that the law may be being broken and, for instance, they notice a student working through a whole book, or copying an unreasonable amount from one volume or journal issue, they can intervene and enquire about the extent of copying. All photocopies made in excess of the limits can be confiscated.

Microfilms and microfiche can be copied. Please contact us before making a special journey to use the microform copier to ensure that it is available.
