Donations

The University Library considers donations of material that enhance our ability to fulfil our collection policies, or are of particular historical value or rarity.

Donations are accepted on the understanding that they become the property of the University and that we are not obliged to keep material which turns out to be unsuitable on examination. We regret we are unable to return items that are not suitable for addition to our collections. Unfortunately, we cannot accept unsolicited donations/donations without prior consultation. A list of the items being offered is particularly useful to help us assess your donation. If possible, this should include the author, title, ISBN (if available), edition and date of the publication.

How do I donate to the Library?

The Library has limited storage space available. If you wish to offer us a donation of any size please contact Kate Devaney, Collections Services Manager in the first instance.

If you are considering making a monetary donation to the Library, please contact Sue Egleton (University Librarian)
