Dr Parslow has a particular interest in supporting students' transition to higher education, and in developing life-long, self-directed learners. He is interested in:

Research projects

Dr Parslow has been involved in a range of research projects funded by the EU and by JISC looking at technology enhanced learning and digital identity.

Background

Dr Parslow came to ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø in 1984 as an undergraduate, dropped out, and had a career as a software engineer and IT analyst for a number of years before returning to get a degree (or three).

Awards and honours

In 2016, Dr Parslow was awarded the Teaching Excellence Award for Science.
