"Food is one of the fundamentals of life, which effects our productivity and therefore effects the economy as a whole. It is therefore important to keep our food secure so we can progress towards the future.
"In Indonesia, it is important to keep food secure and offer an equal price for goods across the whole country. We can then improve our productivity to expand our economy and become a more developed country."
He continued:
"I enjoy the diversity of people on my programme, as I can learn from their different perspectives. I have also really benefitted from the learning experiences here at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, for example when looking into a problem and its solutions, we have to start from the bottom and learn the basics of the problem in order to find a suitable solution."
Terry Previo has enjoyed living in ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø so far, taking note of the excellent transport links across the UK which have been ideal for people like himself who want to travel. Alongside enjoying the beautiful campus scenery, he continues to be amazed by the endless support the University has provided to him since receiving his offer.
He added:
"I am extremely grateful to have been selected for the GIIDAE International Scholarship because it has made my dream to study abroad a beautiful reality. I am happy with the diversity here at ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø and I look forward to continuing my PHD here in the future. If you want to study Agriculture, then ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø is the best place to be!"
